Getting my new car today!

Yes! I am finally getting my new car today. Well...new to me anyways! lol

I am going into Williston with hubby today to return the rental car and to pick up our new vehicles today. My mom found a Dodge Intrepid for me and my hubby found a Oldsmobile or a Buick ( can't seem to remember which one he said) from a lady at work. So now we have the two vehicles that we need!

Now if we could just get the house that we need it would be all good! :)

Hello everyone

Hey nice to see you all again. Been layed off the computer so to speak for a couple of months now, but I am back at it again! lol

Just trying to figure out how to get out of this house and into another one closer to work now! Yes, I got hired yesterday for a data management job. Whooohooo! Anyways, just wanted to drop a little note, and was wondering if anyone knows of any property for sale in Williston, ND? I can hope anyways!

How is everyone????

I have been neglecting this blog for a while now so I figured I had better get something done on here. :)

Summer has been shaping up to be a pretty hectic affair! We went and got my step-daughter in Wisconsin about 2 weeks ago now. That is a very long drive let me tell you! Anything over 4 hours for me is long, but when you start talking 12 hours I am in hell! lol

At least we hit the interstate for most of it so we were able to travel at 70mph instead of 65 or god forbid 55! Then you really start to feel like you are crawling! We spent about a week there while taking in the fireworks display and parade. It was fun but I really missed the kids.

We visited with family and friends and went to my brother in laws birthday party which was fun and hilarious because he had karaoke there, and most drunks just can't pass up a good karaoke session! :) When I get those pics back I will post them as they are hilarious!

Do fairies live at the bottom of your garden?

Do fairies live at the bottom of your garden?

Maybe not anymore but a recent discovery would suggest that they probably did. What appear to be the mummified remains of a fairy have been discovered in the Derbyshire countryside.

The 8inch remains complete with wings, skin, teeth and flowing red hair have been examined by anthropologists and forensice experts who can confirm that the body is genuine. X-rays of the 'fairy' reveal an anatomically identical skeleton to that of a child. The bones however, are hollow like those of a bird making them particularly light. The puzzling presence of a navel even suggests that the beings reproduce the same as humans despite the absence of reproductive organs.

Comments: BBC News has confirmed that the images and text above were created as an April Fools prank by Dan Baines, whose job is designing "strange and unique" illusions for stage magicians. The story of the mummified fairy's discovery was first posted in March 2007 on Baines' Website, Lebanon Circle Magic Company, where it attracted as many as 20,000 hits in a single day. After confessing to the hoax he sold the fake artifact on eBay for £280. Many people, he says, continue to insist it's real.

The prank calls to mind the infamous Cottingley Fairies hoax of 1917, wherein a pair of young British girls with too much time on their hands concocted fake photographs of tiny, humanoid fairies flitting through the air. The photos were vetted as authentic by none other than Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the Sherlock Holmes series, and received an inordinate amount of publicity from a credulous press. It wasn't until 66 years later, in 1983, that one of the girls confessed that the fairy images had been hand-drawn and suspended in the air via hatpins to be photographed.

Gaff art

Baines' work is an outstanding example of what is called "gaff art," the use of taxidermy and prop-building techniques to create realistic-looking sideshow artifacts. One famous example was P.T. Barnum's half-ape, half-fish Feejee Mermaid, which astonished visitors to his American Museum in the mid-1800s. More recent examples, such as Juan Cabana's "Golden Mermaid" carcass, have won fame and infamy thanks to images circulated via the Internet.

Now wasn't that an interesting peace of history and hoaxs? I thought it was. ;)

Meme tag from Michele - Wikipedia MEME

I was tagged by Michele on her blog about a week ago and I am just now getting the chance to participate. :) Thank you Marie for tagging me, this one should be fun and interesting.

Wikipedia meme. Here what you need to do:

Go to Wikipedia and type your birth date (just month and day) into the search
box. Then list:

3 events that happened on that day in history, then
2 birthdays on that day, and finally
1 death that occurred on that day.

Can you guess when I was born? Just a little trivia question for you. lol

Here goes:

Events:
1600 - Philosopher Giordano Bruno was burnt alive at Campo de' Fiori in Rome, charged of heresy. (Can we say brutal?!?)

1933 - The magazine Newsweek is published for the first time. (I guess I didn't realize that this particular magazine had been around for so long! lol)

1992 - A court in Milwaukee, Wisconsin sentences serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer to life in prison. (He didn't last too long in there, but it was a good day for all of the families that lost loved ones to him)

Birthdays on my birthday:

1818 - Frederick Douglass, American abolitionist (d. 1895) (go Fred!)

1963 - Michael Jordan, American basketball player (gotta love Jordan)

1981 - Paris Hilton, American actress and heiress (Ok I know I was only supposed to do 2 of these, but this one blew me away! Never realized that Paris Hilton was born on the exact same day in the exact same year as I was! Now if she would just start acting like an adult like the rest of us! ;-))

Death on my birthday:

1989 - Lefty Gomez, American baseball player (b. 1908) (I actually remember this one happening.)

Now that was interesting and fun, lets see if I can keep it going with a couple more tags.

Jose, I think you will like this one!
Yogacoffeeoutlook, Hopefully you will try this one, and enjoy it. :)

Yes, I am still alive and kicking...

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that I am still alive and kicking. Just having a little bit of a hard time adjusting to live without my bipolar and migraine medicine. :) I honestly thought by now that I would have been over all the withdrawal symptoms, but some are still hanging on with a vengeance!

I won't go into details, but lets just say that I am not all that happy of a camper lately and just wish that it would end, and soon, today preferably! lol Oh, listen to me, I am whining! Geez...:P

I have still been doing my online stuff but have seen a significant slump recently due to not being able to spend as much time at it as I usually would. Somewhat disheartening, but I shall still reach my goals that I set for the month, I just need to make myself do it. I don't want to let myself get into the routine of not doing it, as I know myself too well and will probably abandon all of my great ambitions if I leave it for too long. ;)

I hope this post finds you all well and good, and I will try to get a more quality post put up in the next day or two. I have to go over and visit Michele at her blog and see what she has in store for me, as I haven't been able to get there yet.

Just wanted to pop on end say hi!

I have went off of my bipolar medication, due to financing issues. :) Needless to say it has been rough, but I think that I have finally made it over the worst of it, and am now on my way to getting back to somewhat normal again. "Crossing fingers"

It has sucked a lot out of me this last week, but I plan on getting back into the swing of things within the week.

See you all soon.

I am starting to feel better finally....

I was really starting to wonder if I had it in me to go through the withdrawals of going off of my bipolar medicine, but I think I finally passed over the hump and am starting on my way to recovery. I am starting to get stronger again, and I am not quite so dizzy anymore. At least now I can stand up without feeling like I am going to fall over the other way, flat on my face! lol

I know that most of you are probably wondering why I am doing this to myself. Well it is pretty simple actually. I was on Medicaid before, but now with my husband having a somewhat decent paying job, they have decided that I don't qualify anymore. And I cannot afford $120 dollars for each of my medications that I was on, so I can no longer take them. We shall see.

For now, I am on the mend and hoping that my moods don't suffer too badly because of it. :)

Sorry for my neglect

I want to apologize for my neglect of my blog. I have been trying to make sure that I meet my minimum payouts with my PTR and my PTC programs that I am members of so that I can get paid so that I can promote them to everyone! lol That way I will know that they are really good and I will not feel even one bit guilt for flaunting them all over my sites and urging people to join up with them at their first opportunity! lol Even though I truly believe in these companies in the first place, I want to make sure that they do pay before going full bore with advertising them. Just my philosophy I guess. It may cost me in the end, but this is the way I will go.

Anyways, I will tell all later on on what I have been up to and please check out my other blog if you haven't already done so. http://uniquenorthern.blogspot.com

What's up with you?

I am sick and I don't really have any one topic on my mind right at the moment, I have like a hundred of them, but I can't make my mind settle on just one long enough to form it into a story or a post. ;0) That tends to happen when I get a cold, especially a head or sinus cold, which is what I have right now. And it is a doosy let me tell you! This is now day 5, and I am starting to wonder if I am actually going to have to give in and go to the doctor for this one. {shrug}

I decided that since I can't really make my brain function properly for long posts that I would just give a shout out to everyone that has visited and posted a comment on here. Thank you everyone. I love to read what you all have to say to me. I like knowing that I am not swimming out there all alone. It makes me feel loved in a way. Corny I know, but oh well.

I also wanted to let everyone know that I will be participating in the blog silence day that will be coming up on April 30th, 2007. I received an email from a blogger friend of mine telling me about and encouraging me to join in, so I will as I think it is a great cause. Check it out and think about joining in. Maybe we can all make a different about the violence in this country. Blog silence or you can go to this blog to check out what is going on SuperCoolSchool

If the link doesn't work properly please someone let me know right away so that I can fix it. lol I have been having problems with them off and on for a while. They all work on my computer, so I really can't tell if they don't or not. Thanks.

I have a couple of new articles on Associated Content if you are interested. They did publish my article on TP. Hilarious. I got $8 for it too! lol That story was actually really hard to write, because I was trying so hard to sound professional, but humorous throughout the whole thing, so please visit the link on the sidebar.

I have been doing a lot on mylot.com lately. I am finding myself addicted to the site. I am up to $3.90 as of very early this AM so I am pretty happy. And I got my first best response this afternoon! Yah, go me! Jenny's on a roll! Maybe I should go to vegas?!? Whatever, I will keep my money and do my online stuff and try to earn even more.

I still have not found a place to live, but I did find a house that I would love to buy. It costs $165,000. Donation anyone? lol It was worth a shot.

Well, time to put the kiddies to bed for the night.
Catch ya later,

What's on my mind?????

Well I have a lot on my mind today....

Money being the biggest one! I am in desperate need of money! We need a new place to live, so getting all of that set up is going to take money because everyone requires deposits for all of the services to be turned on. And there is no way that I am going without a phone or the internet again! No sirry bob! Not doing it and you can't make me!

I am also thinking about seriously hurting my neighbor...

He shot at my dog again today!!!!!! He is the scum of the earth and deserves to burn. I usually am a very nice person and can get a long with just about anybody, but my neighbor shot my other dog when he was just a pup of 7 months. So I have every reason to literally see red everytime I see this man, which I try to make as little as possible.

Well, I go to call my dog in after about 20 minutes of his being outside romping with the dogs next door and I barely get the door open and call my dog's name and there are two great big gun shots from the field next door. My heart literally stopped for about 4 seconds. Then went into overtime. All of the sudden the golden retriever from next door comes barreling across the field and there is another shot! I am screaming for my dog, as there is another shot, I finally see my dog high tailing it with his tail between his legs right for me.

Damn dog knocked me down he was so happy to see me. I have never seen a dog so terrified in my life. You have to see, my dog is terrified of gunshots after his brother, my other dog was shot to death right beside him. He will literally knock the door down if he hears a gunshot and we do not open it fast enough. Same thing with lightning. Must be the sound.

So now, I have the dog on a leash, which he hates, and he will not pee or poop, he just looks at me, like I am the retarded one, and I am wondering what in the world to do now?

Traffic exchanges

I have recently signed up for some traffic exchanges in an attempt to drive some more traffic to some of my online programs, and also to my blogs, to earn some more referrals, and to i.e. earn some more money!lol

I signed up for a few different ones, but I really have no idea whether they are really worth it or not, but I figured, what the hey, it can't hurt, as I am always surfing around on the net anyways so why not get something out of it, right?!

Well, so far, I have had to restart my computer twice this AM, and my other traffic toolbar is not counting properly. But I shall persevere somehow over these slight defects! I shall, or shall scream from frustration.

One bright spot of my morning came when I clicked on my ad that I ran with giga-mails for mylot.com! Woohoo! They actually followed through with there 24hr ad policy, at least there is SOMETHING that they are true to their word on!

Maybe I will place another ad with them sometime today to see what happens. I am hoping for some referrals to come out of this process, so that I can start on my way to some more money online.

Well that is all for now. If you know any good traffic exchanges please let me know.

Am I rambling?

Uh, Oh, I have the dreaded feeling that my bipolar is starting to sneak up on me again. I tend to spend more time on the computer and less time with the family when I start going into my manic phases than normal. I also tend to start rambling on a lot about weird topics. I think that is why I have become so addicted to mylot lately. I can skip around in the forums and post here and post there and not have to stick to any one thing for any length of time. Maybe it is more my ADHD that is kicked in. ;0)

It really does not help that I have been sick for the last few days either. I hate being sick, but that tends to be the story of my life. I am sick almost half the month. ugh. The thing I remember most about my childhood is pink bubblegum flavored medicine. Seriously! There was always a bottle of that crap in the fridge. I never did grow out of having a weak immune system and now I pretty much pick up anything that anyone else has. I guess it could be worse. I could be sick 100% of the time. lol

Oh well, at least I am on the mend once again and getting back to my normal self.

Leave me some comments people, I don't bite!

Shout out to another hilarious blogger!

Hey all, just got done checking out another blogger website that I just have to share with you all if you haven't already been there! She is seriously funny and has a great sense of self worth. I came away from her site with a good sense of humor {which some of you may know, is not always easy for me to acheive :0)}

Have a little fun today and go and check her out and leave her a comment!

I especially found the What if the world was square pictures amusing. My seven year old son was laughing his little chipmunk laugh behind me as I was scrolling down the posts and reading them.

Mylot.com are you there yet?

I have been a member of this community for about a month now and have enjoyed responding to discussions ranging from "How do I get my child to share" all the way down to "Does it annoy you when your spouse falls asleep on the couch?"
Mylot.com

The best part of this community is that they pay you for pretty much all of your activity on their site. Whenever you do a 'unique' response to a discussion they will pay you for it. If you reply multiple times they do not pay for more than the first one.

They also pay you to start discussions of your own, to upload pictures, for rating others discussions and responses, and for referring others to mylot.

This really couldn't be simpler to earn from this program!

Their minimum payout is $10 and with regular visits and postings you should be able to reach this in no time!

To be honest with all of you, I have tons of other stuff that I do all day long all the computer so I don't get a chance to log on and post as much as I would like to, but once I get all of my other programs, and blogs up and running how I want them, this will be the place that I stop by everyday. ;-)

If you are interested please do me the favor of signing up under me and referring your friends to the site under you!

Associated content plug

Alright, I have posted about associated content a lot on my other blog, but today I am going to post on here too about it.

Associated content is doing a promotion to there content producers thru Friday April 6th ~ This Friday ~ That they will pay you $8 for an individual product review of 400 words or more! Excellent!

I have already submitted 2 articles for this as they have a limit of 5 for this promotion. Usually I would get paid about $5-$6 for this type of article when done under normal circumstances. So the extra $2 for an article that most likely I would not ever have written is something that I am hyped about.

Maybe that is what has got my writting juices flowing so much today. hmmm....something to ponder about. Anyways. Joining Associated content is absolutely free. There is nothing to buy, no fees, just sign up log in, and publish whatever you want.

But if you want to get in for this promotion you have to follow their rules and make sure to put CSO in the sub headline to make sure that you are credited for the promotion and make sure it is in before midnight on Friday April 6th!

I just had another 4 articles published through them yesterday, so I know that this company pays. I have over 10 articles published with them so far. I have been paid in a timely fashion. NO complaints.

Join if you are interested.

Blog update

Ok, I have updated the blogface a little! Just a little! lol

Anyways, I still like twitter but until it starts running a little faster for me and loading faster I just can't stand to have it on the site and bogging my computer down. I unfortunately still have dial-up {until I start earning enough online to afford broadband or dsl every month} I will have to make my blog easy for me to view and to log into.... Sorry twitter...you had to go.... So for the time being I took off the twitter code and will most likely not be participating in the twitter talks as it talks waaaayyyy too long to log on and update for me to actually participate with any functionality. Really is to bad as I thought it was a really cool concept.

Another thing I did was put my about me stuff right up under my title and above my posts, let me know if you like it or if it distracts you...I can't decide...I also changed my avatar to a black and white cartoonish image of me...just the eyes, but it is me...Something a little more personal as I want people to feel like they know me type thing...

I also added my Associate Content Feed to the top for all of you to view. They are a great company that pays me on a regular basis for my articles. Especially local news articles. Those articles seem to zip through like cheez whiz at a party! Anyways, I want to promote them as they are really good on their promises and are an EXCELLENT opportunity for all of you work at home freelancers out there, that want a reliable place to work for, without all the headaches of deadlines and topic choices!

The Dutch are now taller than us!

According to scientist on the Today Show today, the Dutch people are now taller than most of the American's. Well I guess I cannot say that I myself am all that surprised, as my dad used to say, and this is an exact quote,"The best part of your daddy ran down your momma's leg", I always assume this to mean his height.

Rather crude statement, that took me several years to catch on to, I don't mind saying, but rather true as my full official height in adulthood is now 5'0"!!!! I am almost a midget. Not that I have anything against midgets or little people, I just would rather not be one, if I didn't have to be. I guess I should be greatful that my legs are rather long, compared to the rest of my body so I don't look all that bad in a nice pair of jeans. ;0)

But I digress....

According to research the dutch man is now almost 3" taller at 5'11" and some centimeters than the average american male at 5'9" tall. And the average dutch woman is 2" taller 5'6" than the average american female ringing in at 5'4" tall. So I really miss the "average" mark there.

My dad by the way is not even average when it comes to height he is only 5'7", so I still got slightly no matter how you look at it as my mom is 5'3", but I still did have the possibility of reaching 5'5"! Imagine that! Not having to look up people's nostrils when you talk to them! That would be a dream come true! haha

Anyways, just wanted to pass on that little tidbit for all of you to chew on. If you are interested in the full article hop on over to Today Show and check it out.

******Testing a theory*****

Hey all you bloggers and readers alike out there! Figured that I had better pop on and update everyone as to what I have been test driving lately.

Yesterday was the day for finally tackling the kids' 8-in-1 gaming table.... Let's just say that it took the rest of the day for my hands to recover and my back is still hurting pretty good from that one. My nails that were actually starting to grow long for the first time in a while are now hashed, oh well.

The kids were way excited when they got home to see it up, so it made it semi-worth it. Not all of it, but enough. Hey, I have to be honest. The thing takes up almost half of their playroom by itself so they better enjoy it. I enjoyed throwing some hoops and then played a short game of pool to test it out after I got it together. lol that was fun...

I have been testing out different paid email companies lately to see if they actually live up to their big payout promises. There are some that promise some really big payouts and I just want to find out for myself if they actually follow through in the end. I can hope.

Plus I have been having a bit of trouble logging on here for some reason, but now that seems to be fixed, so I will continue to be on. I am researching a few articles and other some such things, and constantly clicking on emails in my research so busy busy busy...click click click...the list goes on.

Chat with you all later.

The Shrine Circus

As some of you may do every year, I took my children to the circus on Monday night. Our local circus is hosted every year by the local Shrine Club. I personally think these guys are great and will go to just about every event that they sponsor because all of their proceeds go towards funding care and treatment and transportation for children that have spinal bifida and burns, and other horrific diseases in childhood and beyond. Go Shrines!

Anyways...the circus was good, the tigers and the lions were my favorites...If you ever see the inside of my house or bedroom you will see that I am obsessed with tigers!!! The talent was good, but not the greatest I have ever seen at the circus, but hey they didn't fall like last years talent.

My only concern was the guy in the ring with the big cats and whether he was going to get his hand taken off by the female lioness or the male tiger...Now THAT would have been interesting...but alas it didn't happen, but was close a time or two.

I sometimes have to wonder if the animals really enjoy all the pomp and circumstance that the circus is really all about. Do they really like jumping through all them hoops, and doing all them tricks????? They really were not put here on earth to do these things, yet we as humans flocks to places that make them do all of those silly human tricks just for entertainment.

I think next time I want to see a tiger or an elephant up close I will just pay the admission to the Minot or Bismarck zoo and go and see them in their more natural habitat where I can enjoy their more serene beauty out in the "wild" so to speak. I actually left the circus with a queasy feeling in the pit of my stomach, not with joy in my heart.

My kids did enjoy it though, but I really don't think I will attend the circus next year, but I will send the price of my tickets and my kids tickets to the Shrines to still show my support of their good causes as I do still believe in them. Just not the animal acts.

I guess I am a true animal lover at heart.

Just something to think about.

Closet College Basketball Fan!

Well not so much a Closet fan as a pretty quiet fan, but I just wanted to say that my team is still in the running for the Final Four and I couldn't be happier! I am a Florida Gators fan! There I said it! lol

I happen to love Joa Kim Noah!{spelling?} I think it is just absolutely fantastic that he gets so emotional when out on the floor playing with his team! You can really tell that he is just "getting his rocks off" playing the game! Why can't we have more NBA players that are like that?

I also like Brewer and a few other players on the team, but he happens to be my favorite.

His dad was a famous Tennis player, so I know that he didn't get into the basketball program at Florida because of his daddies influence, just on skill and in my book he has a lot of it! I will be following him into his NBA career and hopefully he shines just as bright there as he has in his college career!

I also followed Adam Morrison in his college career, but unfortunately due to limited TV coverage have not been able to keep close tabs on how he has been doing in his NBA career with the Cavaliers. {We only see close to home games around here, it seems}

I also like the Ohio State Buckeys, Greg Oden is a great Center, but he just looks so old, but he has the moves to back him up. If only he wouldn't get into so much foul trouble! He would be a greater assett to the team if he could stay on the court and not warm the bench so much! Especially in the last couple of games! {sigh}

I also like Grey, can't remember at the moment what team he is on, I have to many teams and names running through my head to keep them straight, but I do remember that he always looks like he is wearing makeup around the eyes. He must be tired all the time. lol

Anyways, just wanted to let my players know that I support them and I am ruiting for them.

Oh, yeah forgot to mention UCLA! Go Bruins!

I have way to many teams! lol

Nice to see someone that is not so.....oh what shall I call it???? White? Win Miss USA this year. Miss Tennessee is almost the exact polar opposite of Tara Conner. She is dark skinned, dark haired and dark eyed. She is tall and lithe of figure, has a gorgeous smile and she actually looked like she was going to cry when she won!

None of that fakey crying for her, I actually believed that she was going to shed some tears.... Not that I really watched the whole thing, just the swimsuit part...Thanks to the hubby, and the very end, because I wanted to see who the final winner would be.

I honestly can't stand to see all those woman parading themselves around on stage for hours on end. I really find it pointless for National TV to publicize the whole thing. If I had cable or anything other than 2, yes that is a whole stinking 2! channels to choose from, I would not have been watching the Miss USA pagaent, well except to update my last story. ;0)

Here is the final line-up for those of you that didn't get the oh so awesome priveledge of watching:

4th runner up: Miss Nevada
3rd runner up: Miss California
2nd runner up: Miss Kansas
1st runner up: Miss Rhode Island - she actually looked relieved not to win!
Winner : Miss Tennessee

Miss Tara Conner gave an oh so humble speak about how Mr. Trump "saved her life" and how she will now be speaking out about alcohol and drug addiction, but I will believe that when I see it. Reserving further judgement on that one for now.

Hopefully the new MISS USA will do a better job of representing the young woman of the United States better than Miss Conner did.

TWITTER ~ I HEAR TWITTERS

Follow me! Stalk me and see what I am seeing! Check out what I am checking out!

Have you signed up for the latest sensation? Twitter? Ok, I read a post from Jose on Twitter and what it is and what it can do, {somewhat} and decided that I kind of like that idea!

You see this is something that I can get into! I am a snoop at heart and love to see what everyone else is seeing. I also love to share what I have seen and where I have been to lately. I like to share other users blogs with people. I think we all deserve a little traffic and readers. ;0)

I am by no means a twitteraholic or anything like that, but I can see this as being something really catchy.

Just wish I wasn't always the last in the pool!

Advancing into the realm of blogs

Catchy title huh?

I just want to give a little shout out to Blogadvance for having such a good blog advertising program. I signed up for the site about 2 weeks ago and have seen a marked improvement in site readership and clicks. Awesome! Whew hew! Whatever...

That is for my other site. Half mad rantings check it out if so interested. It takes a lot to get readers and to keep them coming back. I find myself wanting to have people coming and reading my blogs and taking something away from my site. But now for the question ~ what?

Humor, reality, maybe just a little bit of dry wit thrown in. Maybe.

Point is I don't really know what I am going to write on here from day to day. I have lots of ideas. I have lots of thoughts. Whether I really want to share them is sometimes a whole other story in itself. ;0)

When you are a member of Blogadvance they will assign traffic to automatically view your blog for the span of 45 seconds in return for you viewing someone else's blog for said same seconds. Fair enough. I find that in most of my surfing, I can get a feel for whether I would like to continue to return to a certain authors blog in that amount of time, as long as the page loads quickly.

I am fair if the page loads before I can safely navigate away I will still give it time and read the last 3 posts of the blog to see if I like the writing, etc... I want to give everyone else's blog the same chance I want them to give mine. Turn about is fair play.

I have found a lot of interesting blogs this way and have advanced in my writing and blogging style just in the last couple of months since starting to blog from visiting other peoples blogs and taking away some very useful tips.

Check ya later

How LAZY am I???? Picking my perfect profile pic

Well let me answer my own question for you and say sometimes very! Extremely! You know when there is something that you just don't want to take a time out for and just go and do it?!? Catching my drift here?

Ok, now that I've got you, follow me, here there wasn't that fun! Nice legs huh? Those are mine...my very own. Short though they may be. One thing I haven't volunteered before is that I am a very short 5' tall. No jokes now please...I think I have heard them all.

Hey how's the weather down there?

Need a lift? ~ When getting on to a bar stool ~ Thank god this one wore really thin at the local bar after a really crabby night!

Catch'a later small fry!

Need I say more? Didn't think so.

Anyways to get to the whole point of my story was that the pic that you clicked on was the very same one that I have been avoiding putting in my profile here on my blog. I wanted a personal picture that would reveal my personality, but wouldn't be too personal and that I would hate seeing everywhere I visited and left comments. No cartoons for me. I like real life pictures, even though mybloglog pic is of a dog, it still suits me. ;-)

Now my quandry ~ I HATE PICTURES of myself with a passion. I do not take good pictures. They almost always turn out horrible and make me look about 50x worse they I actually do. I have about 10 photos of myself that I would be proud to show, but they are older than I am now and wouldn't be true to how I look today.

So I compromised and took this photo this last weekend. I like it and it suits me to a tee. I have always liked my legs. I don't have to show my face, but it is still a very personal picture, and not too sexy as seems to be the controversy all over the internet. Unique!

Catch you all later

Do you miss the old days? I don't!!!!!

Pic is of the 'lake' at the bottom of my driveway at home.

Ok I am not that old to begin with, but people around here are always talking about how they 'Miss the good old days!' Well I don't! I am living them....

The good old days to me mean well water not city water. They didn't have that many people that were on city water back then. I live in rural north dakota on a farm and all of my water is gotten from a well. Have you ever had well water? It tastes great, but is hell on your clothes, teeth, and hair! Everything gets stained. You have to work extra hard to keep your teeth white and not to mention your clothes!

I now realize why no one out in the country ever had a computer until about 5 years ago or so. Their electricity could not handle it! I overload my circuit breakers all the time. I cannot run my dryer as I will overload my whole house due to faulty wiring, so I have to line dry my clothes.

Yes, I did say line dry. I have to bring my clothes outside and hang them up on a clothesline. I have never had to do this in my life before I moved out here about a year and a half ago! Clotheslines to me were something that my grandmother hung her quilts on about once a month in the summer to 'air' them out, otherwise as a kid I would do my best rendition of George of the Jungle off the top of them. Never for actually drying clothes!

I now am the proud owner of a septic tank ~ can we say disgusting! I never realized how much {waste} one family can make in just a few short weeks until my septic tank started backing up on me. It is amazing how imaginative I have become when it comes to washing dishes, taking bathes, and brushing teeth without overflowing anything!

"The wind is my friend" Enough said about septic tanks. ;-)

Dusting is obsolete when you live on a 'dirt road' you might as well not even try! You are trying to battle something that is all around you and never stops filtering in through every crack in your house, and yes you will find many of them when the wind starts blowing!

You had better not be squeamish about anything that squirms, slithers, climbs, hisses, croacks, jumps, flies, or sucks blood.

YOU WILL NOT SURVIVE!!! You will be driven slowly out of your mind out in the rural areas of our nation! You cannot get away from wild creatures or bugs no matter how hard you may try. They are everywhere!

Crap is everywhere ~ literally

You are at the whims of Mother Nature ~ again literally

Your best friend is your dog ~ unfortunately I'm not really kidding.

I personally long for the modern ages and a more modern house, but love the scenery. Can't there be a happy medium somewhere? Maybe if I tore down the whole house and started over....Maybe that's an idea.

Tara Conner finally passes on the Crown!!!

Finally~ Miss Tara Conner ~ you know Miss Screw up herself ~ will pass on the Miss USA Crown and title this upcoming Friday! I can't wait!

Personally I don't really get into the whole MISS USA thing or even watch the pagaent, I think they are all too skinny and smile way too much. {Must be all the petroleum jelly on their teeth} But hey if they have the guts to walk around in high heels in a bikini or even a bathing suit for that matter in front of thousands of people, I will give them a little cheer. (clapping)

You will never catch me doing anything remotely like that!!!! Crazy people

The pagaent does stand for something good and decent, but people only thing of one, well lets be completely honest and say two things, T&A when they think of MISS USA and all her reigning glory now a days. There has been way too much contraversy with former winners.

(Just had a major brain freeze for a minute there and couldn't think of the name);-)

Vannessa Williams is the first name that comes to mind and perhaps the most famous before Tara Conners. Playboy made a killing off of her and the photos that were taken before her very short lived reign as MISS USA, and probably does still to this day.

Now we have another MISS USA with another claim to fame in her record. Tara entered rehab after partying while underage, snorting cocaine, and basically just being an all american {bad girl}. Hey don't we all wish we could get away with just a slap on the wrist for that kind of behavior?!?

I wish I could have Donald Trump stand behind me and say "Give her one more chance, she's basically a good girl" Where was he when I was getting thrown in jail when I was 21?

Please, just give it up already and disappear into the woodwork like all the other former beauty queens have done and let another more worthy MISS USA stand up! Hopefully they will pick a more deserving one this year!

That's my take anyways!

First post of the new blog!

Welcome ` welcome!

Well here we go again! I have started another blog! I was finding myself starting to want to post more than twice a day onto my other blog so I have officially {yeah like who is going to stop me} decided to start up another blog and try to sort out this crazy old mess that I have got on my hands! ;-)

For some of you that may know just a little bit about me, I have bipolar and am just a touch bit ADHD, so I tend to ramble on just a little bit, but try to keep that under wraps when I notice it. The bipolar just means that one post might be really happy joy joy, and the next might be somewhat pissy or low, but that is the joy of the internet. I can hide my sad little face behind my pretty little words if I so choose, and to be frank, I usually do.

I like to make people laugh if I can, and I love to share my opinions, which I have a lot of, if people will listen and respond, which I hope you will if you are reading this. It is always nice to know that there is someone out there. :-)

If I visit a blog and like what I see or can relate to the content I will always try to leave a comment or a message of some sort. I guess it is being a responsible blogger. I just know what it feels like to be just a touch bit lonely. Not complaining here, just stating the truth.

I live in very, rural North Dakota with my three children, 7,5,4 years of age. I have a beautiful dog, Duke. And I have been married for a year and a half going on two in June. Sometimes not so happily, but that is another really long story....

I have found that I really like this blogging thing and hope to be around a while. If I can somehow make money while doing so, well that is even better! So if you see something you like, click, if not, no hard feelings. I don't click on anything I don't like and don't expect anyone else to.

Besides that is not really what my blog is about anyways. Stay, read, enjoy, have fun. See you later.
