Associated content plug

Alright, I have posted about associated content a lot on my other blog, but today I am going to post on here too about it.

Associated content is doing a promotion to there content producers thru Friday April 6th ~ This Friday ~ That they will pay you $8 for an individual product review of 400 words or more! Excellent!

I have already submitted 2 articles for this as they have a limit of 5 for this promotion. Usually I would get paid about $5-$6 for this type of article when done under normal circumstances. So the extra $2 for an article that most likely I would not ever have written is something that I am hyped about.

Maybe that is what has got my writting juices flowing so much today. hmmm....something to ponder about. Anyways. Joining Associated content is absolutely free. There is nothing to buy, no fees, just sign up log in, and publish whatever you want.

But if you want to get in for this promotion you have to follow their rules and make sure to put CSO in the sub headline to make sure that you are credited for the promotion and make sure it is in before midnight on Friday April 6th!

I just had another 4 articles published through them yesterday, so I know that this company pays. I have over 10 articles published with them so far. I have been paid in a timely fashion. NO complaints.

Blog update

Ok, I have updated the blogface a little! Just a little! lol

Anyways, I still like twitter but until it starts running a little faster for me and loading faster I just can't stand to have it on the site and bogging my computer down. I unfortunately still have dial-up {until I start earning enough online to afford broadband or dsl every month} I will have to make my blog easy for me to view and to log into.... Sorry twitter...you had to go.... So for the time being I took off the twitter code and will most likely not be participating in the twitter talks as it talks waaaayyyy too long to log on and update for me to actually participate with any functionality. Really is to bad as I thought it was a really cool concept.

Another thing I did was put my about me stuff right up under my title and above my posts, let me know if you like it or if it distracts you...I can't decide...I also changed my avatar to a black and white cartoonish image of me...just the eyes, but it is me...Something a little more personal as I want people to feel like they know me type thing...

I also added my Associate Content Feed to the top for all of you to view. They are a great company that pays me on a regular basis for my articles. Especially local news articles. Those articles seem to zip through like cheez whiz at a party! Anyways, I want to promote them as they are really good on their promises and are an EXCELLENT opportunity for all of you work at home freelancers out there, that want a reliable place to work for, without all the headaches of deadlines and topic choices!

The Dutch are now taller than us!

According to scientist on the Today Show today, the Dutch people are now taller than most of the American's. Well I guess I cannot say that I myself am all that surprised, as my dad used to say, and this is an exact quote,"The best part of your daddy ran down your momma's leg", I always assume this to mean his height.

Rather crude statement, that took me several years to catch on to, I don't mind saying, but rather true as my full official height in adulthood is now 5'0"!!!! I am almost a midget. Not that I have anything against midgets or little people, I just would rather not be one, if I didn't have to be. I guess I should be greatful that my legs are rather long, compared to the rest of my body so I don't look all that bad in a nice pair of jeans. ;0)

But I digress....

According to research the dutch man is now almost 3" taller at 5'11" and some centimeters than the average american male at 5'9" tall. And the average dutch woman is 2" taller 5'6" than the average american female ringing in at 5'4" tall. So I really miss the "average" mark there.

My dad by the way is not even average when it comes to height he is only 5'7", so I still got slightly no matter how you look at it as my mom is 5'3", but I still did have the possibility of reaching 5'5"! Imagine that! Not having to look up people's nostrils when you talk to them! That would be a dream come true! haha

Anyways, just wanted to pass on that little tidbit for all of you to chew on. If you are interested in the full article hop on over to Today Show and check it out.
