******Testing a theory*****

Hey all you bloggers and readers alike out there! Figured that I had better pop on and update everyone as to what I have been test driving lately.

Yesterday was the day for finally tackling the kids' 8-in-1 gaming table.... Let's just say that it took the rest of the day for my hands to recover and my back is still hurting pretty good from that one. My nails that were actually starting to grow long for the first time in a while are now hashed, oh well.

The kids were way excited when they got home to see it up, so it made it semi-worth it. Not all of it, but enough. Hey, I have to be honest. The thing takes up almost half of their playroom by itself so they better enjoy it. I enjoyed throwing some hoops and then played a short game of pool to test it out after I got it together. lol that was fun...

I have been testing out different paid email companies lately to see if they actually live up to their big payout promises. There are some that promise some really big payouts and I just want to find out for myself if they actually follow through in the end. I can hope.

Plus I have been having a bit of trouble logging on here for some reason, but now that seems to be fixed, so I will continue to be on. I am researching a few articles and other some such things, and constantly clicking on emails in my research so busy busy busy...click click click...the list goes on.

Chat with you all later.

The Shrine Circus

As some of you may do every year, I took my children to the circus on Monday night. Our local circus is hosted every year by the local Shrine Club. I personally think these guys are great and will go to just about every event that they sponsor because all of their proceeds go towards funding care and treatment and transportation for children that have spinal bifida and burns, and other horrific diseases in childhood and beyond. Go Shrines!

Anyways...the circus was good, the tigers and the lions were my favorites...If you ever see the inside of my house or bedroom you will see that I am obsessed with tigers!!! The talent was good, but not the greatest I have ever seen at the circus, but hey they didn't fall like last years talent.

My only concern was the guy in the ring with the big cats and whether he was going to get his hand taken off by the female lioness or the male tiger...Now THAT would have been interesting...but alas it didn't happen, but was close a time or two.

I sometimes have to wonder if the animals really enjoy all the pomp and circumstance that the circus is really all about. Do they really like jumping through all them hoops, and doing all them tricks????? They really were not put here on earth to do these things, yet we as humans flocks to places that make them do all of those silly human tricks just for entertainment.

I think next time I want to see a tiger or an elephant up close I will just pay the admission to the Minot or Bismarck zoo and go and see them in their more natural habitat where I can enjoy their more serene beauty out in the "wild" so to speak. I actually left the circus with a queasy feeling in the pit of my stomach, not with joy in my heart.

My kids did enjoy it though, but I really don't think I will attend the circus next year, but I will send the price of my tickets and my kids tickets to the Shrines to still show my support of their good causes as I do still believe in them. Just not the animal acts.

I guess I am a true animal lover at heart.

Just something to think about.

Closet College Basketball Fan!

Well not so much a Closet fan as a pretty quiet fan, but I just wanted to say that my team is still in the running for the Final Four and I couldn't be happier! I am a Florida Gators fan! There I said it! lol

I happen to love Joa Kim Noah!{spelling?} I think it is just absolutely fantastic that he gets so emotional when out on the floor playing with his team! You can really tell that he is just "getting his rocks off" playing the game! Why can't we have more NBA players that are like that?

I also like Brewer and a few other players on the team, but he happens to be my favorite.

His dad was a famous Tennis player, so I know that he didn't get into the basketball program at Florida because of his daddies influence, just on skill and in my book he has a lot of it! I will be following him into his NBA career and hopefully he shines just as bright there as he has in his college career!

I also followed Adam Morrison in his college career, but unfortunately due to limited TV coverage have not been able to keep close tabs on how he has been doing in his NBA career with the Cavaliers. {We only see close to home games around here, it seems}

I also like the Ohio State Buckeys, Greg Oden is a great Center, but he just looks so old, but he has the moves to back him up. If only he wouldn't get into so much foul trouble! He would be a greater assett to the team if he could stay on the court and not warm the bench so much! Especially in the last couple of games! {sigh}

I also like Grey, can't remember at the moment what team he is on, I have to many teams and names running through my head to keep them straight, but I do remember that he always looks like he is wearing makeup around the eyes. He must be tired all the time. lol

Anyways, just wanted to let my players know that I support them and I am ruiting for them.

Oh, yeah forgot to mention UCLA! Go Bruins!

I have way to many teams! lol
